Hi again, I would like to know which manufacturer / outlet makes a case that would safely fit an ABZ 5'er, I do value the quality of the gig bag my bass came with, but flying and travelling abroad needs something a little more protective, can anyone recommend a suitable skb type case or similar?

many thanks in advance.

I have an SKB case that fits my ABII like a glove. I think the model is the SKB FB-4, but I'm sure there must be a dealer in London who carries SKB cases that you could try out. I hope that's at least some help for you.

This fits my Z3 like a glove since you already have the Dingwall gig bag.

Gator makes a nice ATA case that has TSA locks on it. GPE-BASS-TSA. Case is a little heavier than a standard case but still provides protection without going to a wood road case for 3x the price. I got mine for about $115 US. Fit both ABII and Voodoo Prima (which is longer than the ABII).

No way, the DW and gig bag are an extremely snug fit, the only think I hate about the case is I look like a monkey humping a football when I'm latching the two halves back together, it's REALLY snug!

LOL! I just about sprayed my keyboard with coffee! If ever there was such a thing as a humpable bass, it would be my Dingwalls!

The ProStageGear PS-BC1 flight case is an awesome fit with my AB-II. I imagine other Dingwalls would fit as well.
