As mentioned we’ve got some catching up on the instrument of the month photos to do so they’ll be coming out in greater frequency for a while. Here’s a Z3 that’s really cool. Quilt top, dyed and sprayed blue/purple flipflop with matching blue/purple flipflop pearloid block markers.
This is one of the colors we thought of originally for the Lee Sklar model. It took a few tries to get it right but I think we’ve got it down now. We’ll also try this color on some Combustions in the near future. Check out the photos here at the bottom of the LS Gallery page.

Dingwall wins 2 of the 3 Outstanding Tone Awards given out by Bass Gear Magazine at the 2009 winter NAMM show
It was a tight race with over 100 manufacturers showing their latest and greatest products competing for the 3 Outstanding Tone Awards. In the end Dingwall won one for the Super J 5 and one for the new Combustion model.
