Z3 5 Quilted Redwood with synthetic Tortoise shell inlays

As US Fish and Wildlife clamps down on inlays with shell in them, we’ve decided to discontinue shell altogether. The result is we’re starting to get creative with our inlay materials. I think we will see many more builders following suit. I just posted photos in the Z3 gallery of a new one with synthetic tortoise shell inlays. http://www.dingwallguitars.com/products/z-series/z3/z3-gallery/

Wild new Z3 photos uploaded

Just uploaded photos of a wild new Z3 that’s heading to Japan. How does Candy Tangerine/Lemon diagonalburst sound?

Montreal Guitar Show wrapup

Well, it was a great show. I was blown away by the level of talent attending the show. Montreal is my new favorite city now too. The guitars were extrememly well received. Here’s one comment on the G1. This guitar is beautiful. The finish is immaculate and the guitar has tone to die for. Perfect fretwork that plays like a dream. The neck profile on the Montreal Guitar Show G1 was absolutely perfect. I need to order one of these built exactly like this one, with a burst finish in a blood red or perhaps a black cherry burst.
Congratulations on creating a true work of art. Standout of the Montreal show this year.

Thanks to all that dropped by. It was great to meet you.

Nice online Combustion review at musicgearreview.com

Here’s a great review by Dave Molter. http://www.musicgearreview.com/article-display/3238.html

What I like about this review is Dave’s got a wealth of experience playing bass live and in the studio. He did a really thorough job. Great site too.
